Qualche anno dopo la fine della guerra civile, una diligenza è costretta a fermarsi nel cuore del Wyoming a causa di una tempesta di neve. Il cacciatore di taglie John Ruth e la sua prigioniera Daisy Domergue sono attesi nella città di Red Rock dove Ruth, noto da quelle parti come “Il Boia”, porterà la donna dinanzi alla giustizia, riscuotendo una taglia di 10.000 dollari. Lungo la strada incrociano due uomini che si uniscono a loro. Ma la tempesta infuria ed i quattro saranno costretti a fermarsi per cercare rifugio presso un emporio dove ad accoglierli troveranno altri quattro sconosciuti. Gli otto viaggiatori bloccati dalla neve si rendono presto conto che, forse qualcuno non è chi dice di essere e che, probabilmente, non sarà facile per nessuno raggiungere Red Rock…

| Plot: Some time after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. Bounty hunter John Ruth and his fugitive captive Daisy Domergue race towards the town of Red Rock, where Ruth will bring Daisy to justice. Along the road, they encounter Major Marquis Warren (an infamous bounty hunter) and Chris Mannix (a man who claims to be Red Rock's new sheriff). Lost in a blizzard, the bunch seeks refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery. When they arrive they are greeted by unfamiliar faces: Bob, who claims to be taking care of the place while Minnie is gone; Oswaldo Mobray, the hangman of Red Rock; Joe Gage, a cow puncher; and confederate general Sanford Smithers.
