Dramma fantascientifico ambientato in una realtà parallela dove l’ultimo must di cui non si può fare a meno è un Synth, un robot simile agli umani. Per cambiare il suo modo di vivere, una famiglia ne acquista uno, ma ben presto comprende che la convivenza con queste “macchine” ha conseguenze importanti, se non addirittura agghiaccianti.
